Friday Study Club

PLEASE NOTE, due to the ongoing covid-19 pandemic, Nihongo Scotland are now meeting online.

You are kindly invited to join us on Zoom every Friday night between 6pm and 8pm BST, UK

You will need a Zoom account to join the meeting.

Our Friday Study Club is open to all learners of Japanese Language, beginners to advanced and with Japanese Language resources available.

We are a friendly club which uniquely functions entirely in Japanese for that “total immersion” experience.

Started over five years ago by Jess, we currently meet on Fridays from 6-8pm at Hamptons Hilton, 166 Fountainbridge, Edinburgh EH3 9RX.

Attendance fee £2 for those already conversational in Japanese.

Lesson fee £5 for those who need structure and some teaching.

ジャパニーズ・スタディ・グループは、エディンバラで毎週金曜日に勉強会を開いています。6時から8時までです。

All native Japanese attendees will be provided with free drinks whilst helping our learners.

We are not a ‘language exchange’ group but if you are looking for somewhere to trade Japanese and English, do drop us a private message and we can point you in the direction of one of the many Edinburgh Language Exchange groups.
